Chilled-out base for 1 night. We really enjoyed almost everything, including rooms and breakfast. The place is 5 km away from Aberdeen downtown. Lovely food for all meals.
Bedrooms were good sized.
Would recommend it. Gracious personnel, large bed. For lunch or dinner go to Tapestry Restaurant, located a couple of blocks away from the hotel.
A pleasant experience. The staff were best, a real pleasure to deal with. We loved our good sized room. In addition, free Wi Fi was provided.
Room seemed clean and quiet, pleasant location, near countryside
1 km to robert gordon university. Big room. Within walking distance of Tapestry Restaurant, where you can have lunch.
Historic building. Hotel itself was LOVELY. The room was pleasant.
The public areas of the hotel are exceptionally beautiful - especially the library where you should enjoy a drink. Free parking directly in front of the house. Very quiet location and nevertheless short way to the city centre.
No Wi-Fi in room 426. No toilet brush. No minibar. You can hear the people walk in the room above you.
The house is really beautiful and has a very special atmosphere. You feel a bit like in a film set and for our Scotland roadtrip it was just what we wanted. It is very comfortable and the staff is very nice!
The internet was a disaster and the rooms had not been renovated for some time.
we have only stayed overnight, the house makes a good impression, the beds are high and soft. it is advisable to spend a few pounds more and have a better room. we will stay there again.
Main house has a lot of atmosphere and a very nice old staircase. Room and bed are big
There is nothing essential to complain about at this hotel :-) ! Rooms, restaurant, service, staff all to your complete satisfaction! And the direct hotel environment (parking lot with small park) is really lovely :-) !!!
Everything was fine!
perfect if you love charm and opulence of the past , a real time travel . Highly recommended!
Very nice ambience, super breakfast, very clean
Not very sustainable. The bath light could not be switched off and therefore it was on the whole night. I reported the problem on the 2nd day and it could not be fixed during our entire stay.
Quiet and yet close to Aberdeen. Very scottish indeed! Great breakfast and beautiful park.
Actually, there's nothing wrong.
A real time travel - very exquisite ambience. Comfortable bed, large and clean rooms, friendly staff, delicious food. Great breakfast - continental buffet and individually prepared Scottish breakfast. The hotel is situated in its own small green area.
Only one duvet. A little away from the city centre, only accessible by car.
